AMALFI COAST

The Amalfi Coast offers one of the most evocative landscapes in the world. Choosing the Amalfi Coast for your wedding means living a sensory experience. Every year it is one of the most chosen destinations in Italy for the “Destination Wedding” especially for couples from abroad.

There are countless places that can be evaluated for a truly wonderful and unique wedding.

Among the former, Positano and Amalfi with its well-known Cathedral are pearls of the coast, destinations that offers exclusive places for your wedding.

Ravello is a dream destination. With its small square and the alleys that run through it, up to a breathtaking view of the coast and the sea. CAPRI

A destination wedding on Capri is the dream of many couples who want to exchange vows against the most romantic backdrop in the Mediterranean. To make this dream come true, there are a few things you need to know about organizing the perfect wedding on the Island of Capri.

It is much more simple to organize a civil ceremony in the town of Capri in the hall in the City Hall building located in the Piazzetta or in one of a number of scenic spots on the island. Ceremonies held in City Hall are free during office hours, whereas there is a charge for civil ceremonies held in other venues. Civil ceremonies in Capri can be held at the following venues: Gardens of Augustus, Tragara scenic overlook, Punta Cannone scenic overlook, Villa Lysis (Fersen), Charterhouse of San Giacomo (with authorization from the “Soprintendenza”) .

If you would like to exchange your vows against the backdrop of the Faraglioni, then choose for the Gardens of Augustus, or the Tragara or Punta Cannone scenic overlooks (the latter is perfect for small weddings). In the town of Anacapri, civil weddings can be held at the following breathtaking venues: the Lighthouse, beautiful place.

 

THE GORGEOUS POSITANO

The town of Positano is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi Coast, and the valley opens up to an equally magnificent stretch of coastline: a romantic and enchanting location for celebrating your Italian wedding in Positano.
According to the legend, Positano was founded by a group of inhabitants from Paestum who were escaping from the attack of some Saraceni (pirates of the time). The first official information about the town’s existence comes from some ancient Roman documents, but some artifacts from the Palaeolithic Era have also been found in Positano.

These artifacts testifies a much more ancient origin of the settlement. At the center of the town, you can see the brightly colored ‘maiolica’ dome of Santa Maria Assunta, the main church of Positano. As well as completing the picturesque view of this Southern Italian town, the church is also a very important part of daily life, for many local inhabitants of Positano. Inside, the church features a collection of intriguing works of art from the XIII, and XVI century that are well worth visiting.
Positano has a very glamorous side, because of the famous Positano fashion style, this is just one of the many reasons that tourists from all over the world flock to the pathways and boutiques of Positano each summer.
